The hardness of the wheels is measured bh durometer. Most wheels are measured on the "A" hardness scale and the higher the number the harder the wheel. The harder the wheel, the faster the wheel, the faster the wheel the less grip that wheel will have. The more grip, the less speed. Wheels with a hardness of 94A and lower care referred to as Grip wheels and wheels with hardness of 95A or higher are referred to as Firm wheels.
